NJCAA AWARDS SEVEN TCCAA TEAMS AS ALL ACADEMIC TEAMS

The NJCAA recently announced this past year's All Academic teams.  There were 1,026 teams honored for maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher for the year.  The TCCAA is proud to announce that seven teams were awarded for their academic excellence in the classroom.  Four schools produce the seven teams with Cleveland State having three squads, Walters State with two, and Dyersburg State & Southwest Tennessee with one.

Cleveland State had their baseball, softball, and women's cross country teams awarded.  Walters State's two squads were their softball and volleyball team.  Dyersburg State and Southwest Tennessee had their softball teams recognized.

The Cougar baseball team finished with a 3.17 team GPA while their women's cross country team had a 3.12 GPA.  The Lady Senator volleyball program had a 3.3 GPA.

Walters State had the highest GPA of the softball teams with a 3.24 GPA.  They were followed by Southwest Tennessee at 3.1, Cleveland State with a 3.07, and Dyersburg State with a 3.01.
