WALTERS, CLEVELAND GOLF TEAMS CONCLUDE FALL SEASON AT BOJANGLES COLLEGIATE; CLEVELAND'S SPILLERS NAMED ALL TOURNAMENT

All three TCCAA men's golf teams competed in the Bojangles Intercollegiate Tournament which was held at the Links at kahite Golf course in Vonore (TN).  Nine teams competed in the event with Walters State finishing in fourth and cleveland State finishing in the fifth position in the team competition.  Cleveland's Wes Spillers mad the All Tournament team as an individual as he finshed a three day score of 214 (-2).  

As a team, Walters State finished with a three day total of 902 (+38).  Chad Homan carded a 221 (+5) to finish 11 the individually.  Nate Vaughan had a 225 (+9) to finish 12th.  Stephen Owen had a 227 (+11) to finish in a tie for 13th.  Dalton Sutton finished with 231 (+15) to finish tied for 21st.  Hunter Hartman finished up with a 238(+22) for the 30th position. 

Cleveland State carded a 921 (+57) as a team.  Following Spillers was Matthew Ott with a 234 (+18) to tie for 27th.  Trent Cooper was next with a 242 (+26) to tie for 35th.  Hunter Haupt had a 243 (+27) to finish alone at 39.  Gage Brakebill finished with a 248 (+32) to sit alone in the 43rd position.

Roane State finished with a 979 (+115) in the tournament.  They were led by Carter Beach who carded a 233 (+17) to tie in 25th place.  Wyatt James had a 240 (+24) to tie for 33rd.  Andy Fox had a 257 (+41) to tie for 50th.  Jacob Parton and Dalton Gray both scored a 258 (+42) to tie at 50th place.  Roane also had two golfers who competed as individuals that didn't go towards team scoring.  Andrew Conner scored a 242 (+26) for a tie at 35th.  Brandon Jordon carded a 251 (+35) TO TIE IN THE 44th position.  

Tournament host Tennessee Wesleyan was the champion with a team score of 863 (-1).  Dalton State was second with a final total of 869 (+5), and Reinhardt University finished third with a total of 880 (+16).
