MOTLOW'S FREDERICKS NAMED TO NJCAA FIRST TEAM ALL AMERICAN; HART & STANBERRY ALSO HONORED

Rashawn Fredericks from Motlow State was named recently as a NJCAA 1st Team All American.  The sophomore helped lead the Bucks to the Region VII Championship and a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament.  His teammate, Isaiah Hart, was named to the 3rd team while Volunteer State's George Stanberry was named Honorable Mention.

Fredericks, a 6'6" wing, averaged 17.7 points a game this year for Motlow.  He also grabbed 10.3 rebounds a game, had 31 assists, 50 steals, and 45 blocks on the season in 31 games.

Hart, a 6'2" point guard, averaged 20.1 points a game.  He had 164 assists for a 5.3 average with 76 rebounds and 106 steals.  The Bucks finished 23-8 on the season.

Stanberry, a 6'1" guard, averaged 29.0 points a game.  He averaged 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.7 steals a game.  He set a school record by scoring 60 points in a contest against Jackson State.
