FINAL WEEKEND PLAY WILL DETERMINE FINAL SEEDING FOR TOURNAMENT

As the conference heads into it's final weekend of play, several seeds for the upcoming conference tournament are still to be determined.

Walters State sits in the driver's seat for the #1 seed.  If they defeat Roane State on Saturday, they have ensured themselves of at least a tie for the regualr season crown with Motlow State.  They will earn the top seed on the basis of having defeated Motlow State both times during the season.  Motlow would be the #2 seed.

The 3-5 seeds will be between Dyersburg State, Southwest Tennessee, and Chattanooga State.  Chattanooga could determine their own fate as they play both Dyersburg and Southwest this weekend.

Columbia State will more than likely earn the 6 seed while Cleveland State and Roane State could flip flop at the 7 and 8 position depending on their results this weekend.

Volunteer will be the nine seed while Jackson will be the ten seed.

The last four teams will open tournament play on Friday, March 1, in the two playin games.  The 8 & 9 seeds will tip off at 4 p.m. with the 7 & 10 going head to head at 6 p.m.

The winners will advance to the quarterfinals for the men which will be on Sunday, March 3, with games starting at 2 p.m.

Cleveland State will be the host for this year's tournament which will run from March 1-5.
