DYERSBURG STATE HIRES CHAD KLINE AS MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH AND ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Dyersburg State has hired chad Kline as their new men's basketball coach and athletic director.  He replaces David Anderson who had resigned to go to work in the private sector.

Kline comes to Dyersburg from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville where he served as Head basketball coach of the men's basketball team from 2014-2020.  He led his teams to a 96-79 record with the fourth most wins in school history and two NCAA tournament appearances.  He served as an assistant basketball coach and NCAA compliance director from 2011-2014 at Arkansas Tech where he assisted in leading his team to a Great American Conference tournament championship and three regular season GAC championships.  He has served as an assistant coach for Coastal Bend College in Beeville (TX) from 2010-2011, head men's coach at Frank Phillips College in Borger (TX) from 2005-2010, and as an assistant at Frank Phillips from 2003-2005.  He has a career coaching record of 186-99.

Kline earned an Associate in Arts degree from Barton Community College in 2000, a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies from Fort Hays State University (TX) in 2003, and a Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech in 2014.
