ALL TCCAA TEAMS ANNOUNCED

The TCCAA announced their regular season All-Conference teams at the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Tournament at Volunteer State this past week.  These teams were selected based on the voting of the league coaches.

Selected to the first team were pitchers Kaliegh Wynn of Chattanooga State and Jordan Fortel of Walters State.  Nadalynn Sauceman was name first team catcher.  The first team infield included Juli King of Volunteer State, Casey Gilbert &Katelyn Davidson of Walters, Jenna Burnett of Roane State, Ashley Threatt of Columbia State, and Devan Brown of Chattanooga.  Jaylin Mabry of Volunteer was the first team utility player.  Alexis Castleman of Dyersburg State, Taylor Hargrove of Volunteer, Natalie Schilling of Roane, and Colbie Thomas of Chattanooga were first team outfielders.

Making the second team were pitchers Gracie Leslie of Columbia and Leslie Odom of Walters.  Abby Stratton was the second team catcher.  Infielders for the second team were Hannah McCravy of Volunteer, Lillie McCrary & Alaeni Ray of Chattanooga, Sydney Heath of Columbia, and Kyndal Riddick of Jackson State.  Brianna Caldwell of Columbia was second team utility player.  Courtney Condon of Chattanooga, Vanessa Elliott & Katie McCann of Walters, and Laura Shiver of Jackson made up the second team outfield.

Individual awards were give to the MVP, Pitcher of the Year, and Coach of the Year.  Fortel swept the player awards, taking both the MVP & Most Valuable Pitcher.  Head Coach Blythe Golden of Chattanooga was named Coach of they Year.
