WALTERS' FORTEL NAMED FIRST TEAM ALL AMERICAN; CHATTANOOGA'S BROWN AND WYNNE ALSO HONORED

The NJCAA announced their All-Americans earlier this week.  The TCCAA was honored to have three student-athletes named to the respective teams.

Jordan Fortel, from Walters State, was named a first team All-American as an outfielder.  She appeared in 50 games this year for the Lady Senators.  She finished with a .561 batting average.  She rapped out 78 hits with 15 doubles and 19 home runs.  She had 72 RBIs.

Devan Brown, from Chattanooga State, was named to the second team infield.  She had a .402 batting average this year.  She appeared in 56 games with 66 hits.  That included 10 doubles, a triple, and 11 home runs.  She would drive in 56 runs.  She had a .962 fielding percentage.

Kaleigh Wynne, also from Chattanooga State, was named as a third team pitcher.  She had a 20-5 record with a 1.78 ERA.  In 149.2 innings of work she gave up 38 earned runs and 110 hits.  She struck 163 batters and walked 46 for the year.
