LADY CHARGERS SEE SOCCER SEASON END IN DISTRICT SEMI FINAL

The Columbia State saw their 2019 soccer season end in the semifinals of the NJCAA Central District on Thursday afternoon as they were defeated by hos St. Luois Community college by 3-1 final.  The Lady Chargers end their second season of competition with an overall record of 10-6.  

Makenna Gebhard put the Lady Chargers up early as she scored their lone goal on an unassisted play just 55 seconds into the match.  St. Louis would even the score midway through the first half, and then take the lead with roughly seven minutes to go in the half.  They would add an additional goal in the second half for insurance.

Gebhard would have two shots on goal with the one successful try while goale jasmine Runk saved two of St Louis' five shots on goal.
