WALTERS STATE VOLLEYBALL FALLS IN SOUTHEAST DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

Lady Senator volleyball saw a successful season come to an end on Saturday as they fell to Catawba Valley 3-0 in the NJCAA Southeast District championship held at Catawba Valley.  Set scores for the match were 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.  Walters finishes the season with an overall record of 20-7.

The Lady Senators managed 22 kills in the three sets with Courtney Dotson and Olivia Oxendine each with four kills.  Amanda Singleton, Taylor Tigue, Hannah Daniel, and Alaysia McGhee each had three in the match.  Singleton had 11 assists and Tigue had eight.  Alexis Wakefield had nine digs followed by Jania Hill with seven.
