TCCAA RELEASES THE 2024-2025 RECIPIENTS OF THE L. QUENTIN LANE AWARDS FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
The Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) is excited to announce the 2024-2025 winners of the L. Quentin Lane Awards for Academic Excellence and Achievement.
The association honors students with its Diamond Team Award for earning a 4.00 during the academic year. Also included are First Team (3.50-3.99) and Second Team (3.00-3.49) honors.

The TCCAA set a record for the number of students earning this academic honor. 553 student athletes received this recognition, up from 480 in the 2023-2024 year.
In addition, the TCCAA awards a Pinnacle Award to the student-athlete from each individual sport with the highest graduating GPA, and also an award to the team in each sport with the highest season GPA. Congratulations to these student athletes:

Also, the number of TCCAA student athletes recognized by the NJCAA rose from 209 in 2023-2024 to 250 this year. The TCCAA also had 26 teams recognized as ALL ACADEMIC (3.0 GPA) by the NJCAA, this is an increase over the 15 teams recognized in 2023-2024.
