WALTERS' LYTCH, BUTLER & CHATTANOOGA'S BRADLEY NAMED ALL-AMERICANS

The NJCAA recently announced the men's basketball players who made the Division I All-American squads.  Three athletes from the TCCAA made the list with Walters' Da'Mori Lytch earning first team accolades while his teammate Taquez Butler and Chattanooga's Odell Bradley earning Honorable Mention selections.

Lytch, a sophomore guard, was the TCCAA Player of the Year this past season.  Lytch finished the season averaging 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Lytch shot 66% from the field which included 40.&% from 3-point range.  He also connected on 67.8% of his shots from the free throw line.  He averaged right at two assists a game, 1.2 steals, and had 30 blocks.

Butler, a freshman, was First Team All TCCAA, TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Tournament MVP, and was selected to the tournament team at the National Championship Tournament.  Butler averaged 12.6 points per game and dished out 4.5 assists. Butler shot 49% from the field and 42% from 3-point range. He made good on 69.8% of his free throws.  He also averaged 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals a game.  

Bradley, a sophomore, was named All-TCCAA First Team this past season.  Bradley averaged 16.1 points in 26 games this season.  He connected on 49.2% of his shots from the field which included 36.0% from 3-point range.  He was good on 71.3% of his free throws.  He averaged 5.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest.
