CHATTANOOGA, VOLUNTEER NATIONALLY RANKED AS CONFERENCE PLAY BEGINS THIS WEEKEND

With the regular season almost a month into play, the TCCAA softball teams will begin conference play this weekend.  Currently, Chattanooga State and Volunteer State sit nationally ranked.  The Lady Pioneers currently sit at #22 while the Lady Tigers are #23.  Walters State, who was preseason ranked at #5 is currently receiving votes for the latest national poll.  

This weekend will se a lot of cross state travel as everyone will see action in the conference with the exception of the Chattanooga who will be the odd team out in the 11 team conference.  Currently, Volunteer sits at 12-4, Chattanooga 10-5, and Walters sits at 10-9 on the season.
