CLEVELAND'S NOLAN MCDANIEL NAMED AVCA TWO-YEAR ASSISTANT COACH OF THE YEAR

The AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) recently announced their annual awards for the 2025-26 campaign.

Cleveland State's Nolan McDaniel was named the top assistant coach for two-year programs this season.  

Nolan guided the Cougar volleyball from the sidelines while his sister, Head Coach Peyton, was deployed in Iraq.  The team secured their first regular season championship and their program's first ever 20 win season.
